Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites Online applications for recruitment of Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, Medical Officer, Veterinary Officer, Scientific Assistant, Scientific Officer, Assistant Director, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Geologist. The last date for filling up online applications is 27th January 2017.

Educational Qualification and Experience:
Assistant Lecturer in Paediatrics ->
(1) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.
Lecturer in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge ->
(1) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
(2) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent.
(3) Should be registered with Dental Council.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.
Medical Officer ->
(1) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao).
(2) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Veterinary Officer ->
(1) Recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984) and registered with a Goa State Veterinary Council.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.
Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory (Polygraphy) ->
(1) Master's Degree in Science/Master's Degree in Arts, with at least second class from a recognised University with specialization in the discipline of Psychology and
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.
Scientific Assistant cum Photographer in Forensic Science Laboratory ->
(1) Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University.
(2) Diploma in Photography or Certificate Course in Advanced Photography from a recognized Institution.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Scientific Officer in Forensic Science Laboratory ->
(1) Master's Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University.
(2) Should possess at least 5 years practical experience in a State/ Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Director in Forensic Science Laboratory ->
(1) Master's Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University.
(2) Should possess at least 8 years practical experience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Professor in Political Science in Government College ->
(1) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
(2) National Eligibility Test (NET)/ State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the "University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges".
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
(4) Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Associate Professors (IT - 01, Mechanical Engineering - 01) ->
(1) Ph. D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Person guiding Ph. D. students and having Post Ph. D. Publications is highly desirable).
(2) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
(3) Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2 years Post Ph.D. experience is desirable.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.
(5) Desirable - Knowledge of Marathi.
Assistant Director of Tourism ->
(1) Degree in Tourism/Hotel Management/Hospitality, from a recognised University.
(2) Six years work experience in Hotel/Tourism Industries.
(3) Knowledge of History and culture of India and must be familiar with places of Tourist interest in India, in general and Goa in particular.
(4) Computer literate.
(5) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Director in Directorate of Tribal Welfare ->
(1) Master's Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent.
(2) 05 years experience of Social Work in any Social Welfare Organisation recognised by the Government.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Geologist ->
(1) M. Sc. Post Graduate in Geology from a recognised University OR (i) Diploma in Allied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or its equivalent.
(2) 3 years experience in the field.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
(4) Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
